Union Protests School Committee
Friday, June 24, 2011 at 2:45PM Well over 200 people came to JFK Middle School yesterday evening to support the Northampton Association of School Employees and protest how the School Committee has failed to honor contracted wage increases and lagged in negotiating. I feel that this lack of good-faith bargaining is a form of union busting. I will make it a top priority to negotiate fairly with every union in Northampton, for the benefit of employees and the city.
